Hi Chris,Hello,
I am having problems importing a profile in the Android app.
I have tried resetting and reinstalling the app but it didn't help.
My device is a Galaxy S10+ running Android 9.
What I do:
1. Install and open app
2. Select "OpenVPN profile"
3. Allow storage access
Then I see a screen where it says "Import profile" on the top left.
The import button on the top right does not do anything.
There is a "Location:" text showing no location.
There is a "<- back" button below the "OpenVPN" tab.
There are no files or folders listed.
When I click "back" I get a "Folder content is Inaccessible" message.
Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like the app might not have proper permissions to access the storage on your device. Here are a few things you could try:
Check App Permissions: Go to Settings > Apps > find your VPN app > Permissions > and make sure storage access is allowed.
Manually Select the File: Instead of relying on the app to automatically detect the profile, try manually navigating to the folder where your OpenVPN profile is stored. You may need to move the profile to a more accessible folder (like Downloads or Documents).
Clear Cache and Data: If you haven’t already, try clearing the app’s cache and data: Settings > Apps > select the app > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data. Then reinstall the app.
Check Profile Format: Ensure the OpenVPN profile file (.ovpn) is properly formatted and not corrupted. Try downloading it again from a trusted source.
Upgrade Android: Since you’re using Android 9, make sure your phone’s software is fully updated. If possible, upgrading to a newer version of Android could also help.
Let me know if any of these solutions work!
